OGUN AMORAN DEPUTY CHAIRMAN LED TASK FORCE TEAM TO SAGAMU LOCAL GOVERNMENT

The Ogun Amoran Task Force team ably led by the State Deputy Chairman of the union, Comrade Kazeem Lawal and other members of the team, were in Sagamu Local Government Area for a one week monitoring and assessment process on the activities of the commercial motorcycle riders.  Comrade Lawal who spoke with the Amoran Media correspondent  in Sagamu, expressed his views on the outcome of the exercise and stated that all observations and recommendations by the task force team will be forwarded to the State Executive Council of the Union for further resolutions and ratification. AREWA RIDERS TICKET IS AGAINST GOVERNMENT RULE ON TRANSPORTATION

This statement was disclosed early today during a press meeting with the ROMO Media after discovering the sales of the ticket which was not authorized by the Ogun State Government.  “The Ticket is tagged *Arewa Cooperative Riders Ticket* and it is sold for two hundred naira. The ticket is not Authorized to be sold and should not be purchase by any rider in Ogun State.  However, it is expected that Mallam Ibrahim Hassan Hassan III Sarkin Hausawa of Egbaland should look into stopping the publication of the Fake and Unauthorized Riders Ticket which was scheduled to be sold every Sunday. The attention of the Ogun State Executive Council of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (OGUN AMORAN), has been called to a publication released  by Punch newspaper and with the above caption.  We wish to state categorically clear without mincing words, that the coalition of the 3 Okada Riders unions in Ogun State, had no plans nor disposition to increase or hike the ticket fee in any ramification or situation.  Every sane person in the country, knows that the economic situation calls for a reflection of concern, support and palliative to the masses. Sotayo led-ROMO Exco Meet To Improve Okada Riders

Abeokuta- In a bid to enhance the welfare and working conditions of motorcycle riders, commonly known as Okada riders, the Chairman of the Riders and Owners of Motorcycle Organizations in Ogun State, Dr. Sotayo Olusola Rasak, also known as Aka Sholabo, held a crucial meeting with his Deputy Chairman, Power Mark.  The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and implement a new modus operandi that would significantly improve the lives of the Okada riders in the state.
