MAY DAY: AMORAN Applauds Ogun Workers’ Resilience, Hails Gov. Abiodun’s Support
As workers across the globe observe this year’s International Workers’ Day, the Ogun State Chapter of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has joined in celebrating the unyielding spirit and contribution of Nigerian workers, particularly those in the transport sector. In a statement commemorating May Day 2025 issued by the State Chairman of AMORAN, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, he described the day as “a moment to honour the dignity of labour and the unwavering efforts of those who keep the wheels of our economy moving, often under challenging conditions.” Otunba Sokoya paid special tribute to motorcycle riders, mechanics and other informal transport operators in Ogun State.
