STABLE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY; IPERU LIGHT UP SCHEME APPEALS FOR PROMPT PAYMENT OF ELECTRICITY BILLS, URGE RESIDENTS TO EMBRACE THE USE OF PREPAID METERS The Light Up Iperu Scheme Management Board has appealed to all the residents of the town to promptly pay all their electricity bills due to the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company Limited. The Chairman of the board, Prince Wale OYEKOYA, made this appeal at Iperu on Tuesday. Prince OYEKOYA's appeal is coming on the heels of the stable electricity supply that the town has been enjoying for almost two weeks, and the request from the electricity distribution company on the need for consumers to regularly pay their electricity bills, so that the company will be able to recoup its investment, while also sustaining the provision of uninterrupted power to the town. The State Chairman Romo Ogun State, Dr. Sotayo Olusola Rasak Aka SHOLEBO, has appealed to Nigerian youths to sheath their plans to stage nationwide  protests. The ROMO leader,  while addressing newsmen at the Union Secretariat in Abeokuta, Ogun state on Friday assured the youths of significant change as soon as possible. Sotayo stated that Tinubu’s administration is working assiduously to change the current economic narrative.  Sotayo said "The Government understands your frustration and disappointment with the current state of affairs in our beloved country.
