The leadership and entire members of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Ogun State Chapter, heartily congratulate our father and leader, the number one member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙔𝙚𝙢𝙞 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙨𝙞, on his appointment as the Chairman, Board of the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN), by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

This appointment is not only a recognition of Chief Sanusi’s unrivalled commitment to progressive leadership and excellence, but also a clear testament to his years of selfless service, discipline and dedication to the development of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.

As a respected statesman and visionary leader, we are strongly convinced that Chief Sanusi's wealth of experience and strategic insight will undoubtedly reposition CRIN for greater efficiency, research-driven innovation and national relevance, particularly in revitalizing Nigeria’s cocoa sector.

On behalf of the executives and the teeming members of our great union across the state, I wish Chief Sanusi a successful and impactful tenure in this new national assignment. It is equally important to mention that we, the good people of the gateway State, are indeed proud of this laudable recognition and we stand in full support as he continues to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of our dear nation.

Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Takes Helm as AMORAN Chairman Following Unanimous Vote

In what appears as transition of leadership, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku) has been unanimously voted as the new Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN). This follows the resignation of Otunba Aina Nurudeen Alowonle, who stepped down to pursue his 'lifelong ambition'.  During an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the state executives of AMORAN addressed the resignation letter submitted by Otunba Alowonle. In his letter, the outgoing chairman expressed his intent to resign due to his decision to contest for the position of Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government in the upcoming Ogun State local government elections. AMORAN Inaugurates Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as New State Chairman In Ogun

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State has officially inaugurated Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as the new chairman of the union. The inauguration ceremony took place today at the union's state secretariat in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The leadership transition duly follows the resignation of the former chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle. In response, the union's executive members unanimously elected Otunba Sokoya as the new chairman, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the organization. The event was marked by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, and the Ogun State Commissioner for Transport, Engr. Gbenga Dairo.
