The Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, has joined other well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, describing it as a period of deep spiritual reflection, compassion and unity.

In a goodwill message issued on Friday, the AMORAN Chairman congratulated all Muslim faithful in Ogun State and across the country for witnessing another Eid, urging them to uphold the values of sacrifice, obedience and peaceful coexistence which the festival symbolizes.

“Eid al-Adha reminds us of the virtue of total submission to the will of Almighty Allah and the power of sacrificial giving,” he said. “As we mark this significant occasion, I encourage all our Muslim brothers and sisters to embrace the teachings of the season which includes love, humility and tolerance.”

He commended the adherents of the Islamic faith for their continued support toward peace and development, particularly within the transport sector, emphasizing that religious harmony plays a key role in community advancement.

The Chairman also used the opportunity to appeal to transport operators across the state to celebrate responsibly and ensure safety on the roads during the festive period.

“Let us celebrate in moderation, respect traffic rules, and show kindness to one another. May this Eid bring joy, renewed hope, and lasting peace to our state and our nation at large,” he concluded.

He wished all Muslim faithful a blessed and joyful Eid al-Adha, praying that their sacrifices be accepted and their homes filled with Allah’s blessings.
