ABUJA 2026: Okubadejo Commends Abiodun for Orderly, Well-Coordinated APC Convention Venue

Ogun State Commissioner for Finance and Chief Economic Adviser, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo, has praised the Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON,  for his role in delivering a well-organised and seamless venue for the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention, describing the exercise as a clear reflection of purposeful leadership and attention to detail.

Speaking with journalists at Eagle Square, Abuja while the convention was ongoing, Okubadejo said the convention venue stood out for its orderliness, coordination and calm atmosphere, despite the large turnout of delegates and party faithful from across the country.

He noted that the planning and execution of the venue arrangements demonstrated a high level of preparedness, with every aspect, from seating to movement within the arena, carefully thought out to ensure a hitch-free experience.

“What we witnessed here is the result of deliberate planning and strong leadership. The organisation of the venue speaks volumes about Governor Abiodun’s capacity to manage complex operations effectively,” he said.

According to him, the smooth flow of activities throughout the convention was the outcome of a coordinated effort driven by foresight and efficiency. He added that the ease with which delegates were guided and proceedings conducted reflected a system that had been properly structured ahead of time.

Okubadejo further observed that in an event of such magnitude, the level of control and coordination achieved was commendable.

“This kind of gathering could easily become chaotic but what we saw was a well-managed environment where everything functioned as planned. That, to me, is the true mark of good leadership,” he added.

He also disclosed that many delegates expressed satisfaction with the arrangements, particularly the clarity of directions, accessibility of key sections and the overall atmosphere of order at the venue.

Describing the outing as a model for future large-scale political events, Okubadejo said the success of the convention venue should serve as a reference point for effective planning and execution in similar engagements.
