Democracy Day: AMORAN Chairman, Danku, Urges Commitment to Unity, Good Governance

The Executive Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Ogun State Chapter, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (Danku), has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration, urging citizens to remain committed to the ideals of democracy, unity, and national development.

In a goodwill message marking the June 12 celebration, Sokoya described Democracy Day as a significant moment to reflect on the sacrifices of patriotic Nigerians who fought for democratic governance and the right of citizens to freely choose their leaders.

He noted that the occasion serves as an opportunity for Nigerians to reaffirm their commitment to the values of justice, accountability, good governance, and national unity.

The AMORAN chairman called on citizens to continue supporting efforts aimed at building a peaceful, prosperous, and inclusive nation where every Nigerian has the opportunity to succeed and contribute meaningfully to national development.

Sokoya expressed optimism about the future of the country, stating that the spirit of democracy would continue to strengthen Nigeria's institutions and inspire greater achievements across all sectors.

He wished Nigerians a happy and memorable Democracy Day celebration.
