May 31, 2025   The Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) joins His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun (CON), the Governor of Ogun State, in expressing profound grief over the tragic loss of the 20 Kano State athletes who died in a fatal road accident while returning from the 22nd National Sports Festival, "Gateway 2024.  This heartbreaking incident has left our entire nation in mourning. These young athletes were not just budding stars but also symbols of hope, unity, and national pride. Their dedication to representing Kano State with excellence and forging bonds with fellow athletes across Nigeria makes their untimely demise even more devastating.   We are deeply pained that these promising lives, full of talent and potential, were cut short just as they were returning home to their loved ones.
