To His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON,
Executive Governor of Ogun State,

On behalf of the leadership and members of the Iperu Youth Development Association (IpYDA), led by Alhaji Ganiu Ahmed, we extend our warmest congratulations to you on your 65th birthday celebration and your 6th year as the Executive Governor of Ogun State.

Your leadership has brought immense pride and development to the state, and we are particularly grateful for the Gateway International Airport, Iperu, which is a testament to your vision and commitment to the growth and progress of Ogun State.

However, we humbly bring to your attention a pressing matter that requires your intervention. The recent misrepresentation of the Gateway International Airport as Ilishan has caused confusion and concern among the Iperu community. We respectfully plead with your leadership to address this issue and ensure that the airport is correctly identified as being located in Iperu as a major land contributor  for the project. A clear signpost at the entrance would go a long way in resolving this matter and affirming the community's ownership.

Once again, we congratulate you on this landmark double celebration and look forward to your continued leadership and development initiatives for Ogun State.

Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Takes Helm as AMORAN Chairman Following Unanimous Vote

In what appears as transition of leadership, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku) has been unanimously voted as the new Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN). This follows the resignation of Otunba Aina Nurudeen Alowonle, who stepped down to pursue his 'lifelong ambition'.  During an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the state executives of AMORAN addressed the resignation letter submitted by Otunba Alowonle. AMORAN Inaugurates Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as New State Chairman In Ogun

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State has officially inaugurated Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as the new chairman of the union. The inauguration ceremony took place today at the union's state secretariat in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The leadership transition duly follows the resignation of the former chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle. In response, the union's executive members unanimously elected Otunba Sokoya as the new chairman, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the organization. The event was marked by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, and the Ogun State Commissioner for Transport, Engr. Gbenga Dairo.
