Remo Has Decided', AMORAN Chairman, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, Congratulates Reps Member-Elect, Princess Ayoola Elegbeji
The Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. (Dr.) Princess Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on her emphatic victory in the Remo Federal Constituency House of Representatives by-election held on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
Otunba Sokoya described the outcome of the election as a resounding affirmation of the people’s trust in Elegbeji’s leadership qualities and the solid foundation laid by the APC in the constituency. He emphasized that the landslide margin recorded was not only a personal victory for the candidate but also a clear endorsement of the party’s policies and vision for Ogun State.
He further commended the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for what he termed “exemplary leadership and developmental strides,” noting that the governor’s performance has continued to inspire confidence in the electorate and strengthen the APC’s position across the state.
In addition, Otunba Sokoya lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a credible, transparent, and peaceful exercise, while also appreciating the electorate for their maturity and cooperation in ensuring a rancour-free poll.
Finally, Sokoya expressed optimism that Hon. Elegbeji will justify the overwhelming mandate entrusted to her by providing quality representation and delivering on the aspirations of the people of Remo Federal Constituency.
