AMORAN HAILS GOVERNOR ABIODUN OVER APPOINTMENT OF 1200 POLITICAL ASSISTANTS

Abeokuta, Nigeria – The State Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, has hailed the State Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, for the landmark appointment of over 1,200 individuals as Political Assistants across the 236 wards of the state.

In a statement issued from the Association's Secretariat, Otunba Sokoya praised the Governor for his innovative and inclusive approach to governance. He stated, "With this unprecedented initiative, His Excellency has once again scored a monumental goal and pioneered a program that no previous administration in the state has ever accomplished. This move demonstrates a profound commitment to truly integrating grassroots representation into the fabric of governance."

The AMORAN Chairman emphasised that this initiative is a direct fulfilment of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s electoral promise to carry every ward along in his administration’s development programs and to run an all-inclusive government that values the people’s inputs in shaping policies and initiatives.

Otunba Sokoya concluded by urging all the newly appointed assistants to justify the confidence reposed in them by working diligently for the development of their respective wards and the state at large.

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria(AMORAN) is a premier organisation representing the interests of commercial motorcycle operators across Nigeria, advocating for welfare, safety, and development.
