ELECTION VICTORY: RMDC Congratulates Princess Elegbeji, Affirms Mandate as Continuity of Progress for Remoland

The Remo Matters Diaspora Coalition (RMDC) has extended warm congratulations to Hon. (Dr.) Princess Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji on her decisive victory in the August 16 House of Representatives by-election for Ikenne, Sagamu and Remo North Federal Constituency.

In a statement released by the group on Monday, it described Princess Elegbeji’s triumph as “a stepping stone toward a stronger, united and progressive Remoland; a future where representation drives development and inclusivity.”

The coalition noted that her emergence at the polls reflects the overwhelming trust and confidence reposed in her by the electorate and underscores her capacity for purposeful and transformative representation at the National Assembly.

“As a global advocacy and development platform, we remain committed to preserving Remo’s heritage, values and culture while championing socio-economic growth and equitable political representation. Princess Elegbeji’s victory aligns seamlessly with our vision of protecting a united Remo people, both in the diaspora and at home,” the group said.

RMDC further emphasized its mission to amplify the voices of the Remo people by driving conversations that shape cultural preservation, welfare, and development, while fostering unity and inclusivity with other communities across Nigeria.

Expressing optimism about her tenure, the coalition expressed confidence that Hon. Elegbeji will advance policies that ensure inclusive governance, impactful development and generational progress for Remonians both at home and abroad.

“We are confident that your journey at the Green Chamber will be guided by wisdom, resilience and a deep sense of purpose as you work to advance the aspirations of the Remo people,” the statement concluded.
