Transport Union Leader, Otunba Sokoya Celebrates Industry Titan on 60th Birthday

AMORAN Chairman Extols Rasak’s Legacy

Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, the Executive Chairman of the Articulated Motorcycle and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), has publicly celebrated his colleague and counterpart, Dr. Sotayo Olusola Rasak (popularly known as Solebo), on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a statement issued in Lagos, Otunba Sokoya conveyed warm congratulations on behalf of the entire executive council and membership of AMORAN, hailing Dr. Rasak’s milestone as a landmark event in the transport sector.

He described the National President of the Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria (MOUN) as a visionary leader whose decades of service have significantly shaped the landscape of motorcycle transport unionism in Nigeria.

“Dr. Rasak’s tenure has been marked by unwavering advocacy, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to the welfare and professional standing of operators nationwide,” Sokoya stated.

The AMORAN Chairman highlighted the collaborative relationship between the two unions, acknowledging Dr. Rasak’s role as a respected partner in the shared mission to advance the transport business. He noted that Rasak’s principled leadership and bridge-building efforts have fostered greater structure and respect within the industry.

“This 60th birthday is not just a personal celebration but a testament to a legacy of resilience, wisdom, and immense contribution,” Sokoya added.
