2027: Kashamu Consults Ijebu North APC Leaders, Reaffirms Commitment to Inclusive Representation In Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency

The ongoing consultations of Hon. Rasheed Kashamu took a significant turn on Wednesday, 15th of April, 2026, as he returned to his home base, Ijebu North Local Government, reinforcing his commitment to grassroots engagement and inclusive representation.

The visit, which forms part of his broader outreach across the Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, was marked by warm receptions from party leaders, elders and stakeholders who gathered to receive one of their own, including the Secretary, Taiwo Adeleye; Woman Leader, Mrs Nike Akeushola; Treasurer, Kasali Adesina; Youth Leader, Ramota Hamzat; and Vice Chairman, Adenola Segun (Segeto), who represented the Chairman, Mosun Oladipupo. Also present were the eleven waed chairmen across the local government. This homecoming carries a deeper symbolic meaning, reflecting both trust earned over time and expectations for greater service.

Addressing party faithfuls and community leaders, Hon. Kashamu emphasized the importance of unity, collective purpose and sustained dialogue in building a stronger political front ahead of the 2027 general elections. He noted that true representation begins with listening, understanding the needs of the people and working collaboratively to achieve shared goals.

Speaking further, Kashamu reaffirmed his utmost dedication to advancing the interests of the constituency, drawing from his legislative experience and consistent grassroots connection. According to him, the consultations are not merely political rituals but a deliberate effort to ensure that every segment of the constituency is carried along in the journey toward effective representation.

Leaders across the local government commended his humility and accessibility, describing his approach as a refreshing departure from conventional politics. They acknowledged his track record in the Ogun State House of Assembly and expressed confidence in his capacity to deliver even greater impact at the federal level.

The engagement with leaders and elders of the All Progressives' Congress (APC) in Ijebu North further strengthens Hon. Kashamu’s growing rapport with key stakeholders across the constituency.

With momentum building steadily, his campaign is gradually taking shape as a formidable movement anchored on trust, performance and a clear vision for the future.
