AMORAN Chairman , Sokoya Hails Yayi’s APC Primary Victory in Ogun, Pledges Full Support for 2027
The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has lauded Senator Adeola Solomon Olamilekan Yayi over his emphatic victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election held on Thursday across all 236 wards in Ogun State.
In a statement issued in Abeokuta, the Chairman of AMORAN, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, described Senator Yayi’s triumph as a clear testament to his widespread grassroots acceptance, visionary leadership, and unwavering dedication to the progress and welfare of the people of Ogun State.
Otunba Sokoya noted that the lawmaker has consistently demonstrated exceptional legislative acumen and a deep understanding of grassroots dynamics, qualities he said would translate into remarkable development for the state if Yayi is eventually elected governor.
“On behalf of the entire leadership and membership of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria, I extend our heartfelt congratulations to Senator Adeola Solomon Olamilekan Yayi for emerging as the APC governorship candidate in the primary election conducted peacefully across all 236 wards in Ogun State today. Your victory is well-deserved and reflects the confidence that party delegates and the masses have in your capacity to lead,” Sokoya stated.
The AMORAN chairman also extended profound appreciation to the incumbent Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for what he called exemplary leadership and political sagacity in nurturing and presenting a worthy successor.
“We equally congratulate His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for giving us Yayi. His commitment to ensuring a seamless and credible primary process is commendable, and we are grateful for his continued dedication to the progress of our great state,” he added.
Reaffirming the association’s role as a formidable grassroots force, Otunba Sokoya declared that AMORAN stands firmly behind Senator Yayi during and after the 2027 general election. He assured that the association’s vast network of members across all local government areas would mobilize massively to ensure victory for the APC candidate at the polls.
“Let it be known that AMORAN is not only celebrating this primary victory but has resolved to stand with Senator Yayi throughout the electioneering period and beyond. We will deploy our structures and grassroots reach to campaign vigorously and secure his victory in the 2027 governorship election.
